Jamie N. Clark

Jamie N Clark - Rochester, NY - Rochester Cremation

Rochester, NY:  Sunrise 11/28/97  Sunset  1/17/21

Jamie passed suddenly at the age of 23. She is predeceased by her cousin Chris Saunders (CJ) and her grandmother Gail Dwyer.

She is survived by her mother Dawn Clark , father Mark Clark( Nikki Burk), brother Austin Clark , sister Katelyn Clark, maternal grandparents Karen Kester, Terry(Cindy) Kester, Paternal grandparents Tom (Gloria) Dwyer, many  Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, many many many friends and her dear friend Anne Meyers, who was like a second mom to her.

Jamie survived a brain tumor in 2008 and ever since then she had an impact on the lives of everyone she met. She loved animals,(puppies the most), loved her family and all her friends. Always willing to help anyone, from taking out your garbage, walking your dog or helping carry something heavy. We called her our Hercules. She would spend her last dollar on you if you needed or wanted something. Then there’s the McDonalds Mocha Frappes that she had to have everyday, she sure loved those things.

Although she had struggles in her short life, she always had a smile on her face.

Her family would like to thank Strong Memorial Hospital for all her care, Especially Dr. Korones and all the nurses on the 6th floor. Thank you to the Hickok Center for Brain Injuries for everything you did from support to helping Jamie seek and get employment. Also thank you to everyone that was her friend and there are many of you out there.

In lieu of flowers ,please consider a donation to the Second Hand Dog Rescue, where she played an essential part in homing dogs.

Jamie was a sweet girl who was always smiling. We worked together and she always had me drop her off at McDonald’s for her mocha Frappuccino… I will miss her and her laugh and won’t be the same at work without her. May God wrap his healing arms around family and friends and give comfort to all. She was always talking about the puppies and her cat . Rest easy my friend .

I went outside tonight and the light was off in your room . I looked up higher and I saw your wonderful smile attached upon the moon . I will miss you more my dear friend than anyone could know but this can’t be our end because I loved you so . I have greeted your sunshine and warmth , but now I will try to accept the lightning and thunder . So until we meet again my James , I will look upon the moon . Someday my dear friend , I’ll be with you smiling upon the moon .

“People say you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. Truth is you knew what you had, you just never thought you’d lose it.” We lost you, all of us who knew you, your smile, your music, the errands, favors, and everyday tasks you helped us with. It is indeed our loss. Jamie, you were loved, appreciated and now, more than ever you are missed. Rest in Peace my young friend.

    Jamie,

The thought of not having you in my life hits me hardcore, but I know your in a better place. We lost you at a young age and, I wasn’t expecting it. I always remember my favorite quote I told you, ‘A true friend will see you for who you are, no matter the face you wear.’ And all I can see is your smile… You were loved and appreciated by many, now you will be missed… Just know you will never be forgotten.

I love you and I will miss you with all of my heart. Just know I am always thinking of you.

    I love you.

Jamie was a former student of mine when she attended Edison Tech. She loved visiting with teachers, even when she did not have their class at the time. She was always smiling and always wanting to offer help in any way she could. Everyone knew Jamie and loved her. She had many friends in school. I was so shocked to learn of her passing. My deepest condolences to her family. I will always remember your kindness, Jamie.❤️
