ROCHESTER, NY – February 27, 2021 at age 72. Dave is survived by his daughter Jill Burke; son Mark (Shantry) granddaughters Charlotte, Lila, Rose, Clara (Burke) and Coryell; brother Michael (Janice); nephew Scott, and Niece Tracy (Joel) DeWitt; other loving family and friends. He was a career plastic fabricator, toolmaker, and proud small business owner, but his favorite job was Papa. Dave chose his life; he didn’t settle for it. He traveled the world on the Air Force’s dime, attended more music festivals than most, and made his way to the top of Pike’s Peak. It was a life well lived.
The family would like to say Thank You for all the support of his many friends, that 10th Ward crew. Such an amazing example of the enduring bonds of friendship. This is a loss shared by so many.
Go Yankees!
Dave is a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. There will be a private celebration held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in his name to the Hildebrandt Hospice Center by visiting: https://www.lifetimecare.org/donate-form
