March 2nd, 2021 at the age of 73.
Rochester, NY: Carol will be joining her husband Donald Massey, her beloved dog snowball, all of her brothers and sisters, as well as her parents in heaven. She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Shawn) Wilkinson, Danielle (Charles) Conrad; sons, Michael (Tina) Kearney, & David (Laura) Hoffman. Her grandchildren, Nicole Domizio, David Hoffman, Christina Hoffman, Ryan Hoffman, Samantha (Giuseppe) Salemi, Alisha Bolger, Giavanna Kearney, Justine Kauffman, Erika Robinson. great-grandchildren Arianna Powell, Gemma Grace Domizio, Charlie Foti, Landen Salemi, Charlie Kessler, Kathlina & Breona Quigley. She will also be greatly missed by her beloved companion max.
Thanks to Wedgewood nursing home staff for their compassionate care. Carol was blessed with many special caregivers and friends. The family would like to say Thank You for all the support you have given to her and our family during this difficult time.
In honor of Carol, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
Carol’s Memorial Mass will be held Friday, March 12th, 2021, 10:30 AM at Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin St, Rochester, NY 14606. All other arrangements will be private for immediate family.
We all loved Carol so much at Wedgewood and she will be greatly missed. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Carol (aka) heifer was a very dear friend of mine. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She had a heart of gold and would go beyond to help those in need. She was my first born Godmother. RIP my friend soar high with your wings.

My heartfelt condolences to Cathy and all of Carol’s loved ones. She was a dear and loyal friend to all those fortunate enough to know her. I will never forget the incredible love and devotion she showered on her friends in need, namely Joe Morinelli, Vilia Ellie, Irene Cirelli, and of course her husband Joe. May she now rejoice in God’s kingdom.
