James F. Mauk III - Fairport, NY - Rochester Cremation

April 11,2021: James F. Mauk III, 71 of Fairport, son of James F. Mauk, Jr. and Virginia Mauk born November 11,1949, passed away April 11, 2021 of Covid 19 complications. Jim spent his life in the Rochester area,  graduated from East High School and attended Monroe Community College.

He was active in Cappa Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Wakan Masonic Lodge, Valley of Rochester Scottish Rite, Damascus Shrine, Jesters and Clown Unit.  He was employed by Star Supermarket, Tops Friendly Market, Rochester General Hospital, Pittsford and Boces Transportation Department.

Jim had many interests including: music, landscaping, photography, his dog Peggy, and bringing everyone joy.

Survivers include children, Jason, Matthew, and Sarah Mauk, Sheila Mauk Stridling, Clara Croyle, Cheryl Mauk Herbst, Eileen Bendschneider, Nephew, Great Nephew and 2 Great Nieces, Cousins and many friends. He will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 11 o’clock in Salem United Church of Christ, 60 Bitner Street, Rochester, NY 14604.

Donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

    Sorry to hear of the passing of Jim, we had such a brother in arms as our resident photog for the EEGO, I’m sure I speak for the many who valued his presence. He will be sorely missed, and may we collectively pray for the family.
