She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Marie (Bill) Burns, Rochester NY, Fur-Grandson Louie “Baby” Burns, a sister and brothers, many nieces and nephews, cousins, many friends throughout the Carthage/Watertown area. A special thank you to the extended Burns family for their love and support, and a special thank you to Carl & Sandy Coloney who became family to Norma and Dawn during this very difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, please spread kindness. Grab a bouquet of flowers, deliver them to a neighbor, a friend, or even a stranger. Or, bake a batch of homemade cookies and deliver them to someone going through a difficult time. “Sometimes it takes only one act of KINDNESS AND CARING to change a person’s life”

I’m so sorry to see this, but I’m also happy to know Norma is no longer suffering ! I met her a few years ago on Memorial Day in Felts mills where I am also from. I’ve thought about her often; wondering how she was doing! The last time I saw her & chatted with / hugged her ‘ see you later’ was in Walmart on route 11 maybe before covid hit!
I will see you in Heaven , sweet girl!! Rest & relax now, and give Dad hugs for me!♥️🙏🏻
I miss her so much. It’s just not that same here without her. I miss her checking in on me in my office and making sure I was ok. I miss her giving me hugs and telling me she loved me. I miss her coming into my office and taking my chocolate. She has left a hole in our hearts as I know she has yours. I will miss talking to you Dawn and want you to know you are in my prayers
