Jane E. Doles

Greece, NY: Jane passed peacefully on August 10th at the age of 71. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Millie Teplir and her grandson, Joshua Culbertson; and survived by her husband of 51 years, Paul Doles; her two children, Jill (Matt) Culbertson and Steven (Calypso Doran) Doles; her grandchildren Logan and Averi Culbertson and Lucy and Joanna Doles; her twin brother Jack (Judy) Teplir and sister Suzanne (Jerry) Berfield; brother-in-law Joe (Nancy) Doles and sister-in-law Marcia Doles; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends Rita Searles, Linda Bonneau, Marie Brown, and the line dancing girls at Greece Community Center.

Jane loved her children and grandchildren, country music and line dancing, flowers, and the beach. She was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania on October 6, 1949; married on June 6, 1970, after which she moved to Rochester, New York. She enjoyed traveling, including to Pensacola, Florida where her daughter lived for many years, Ireland, Italy, France, and England; although she dedicated much of her life as a homemaker and mother, she also worked as an aide in daycare and in Greece public schools due to her love of children and young people.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 19th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Arndt Funeral Home (1118 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626.). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 20 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church (1000 N. Greece Rd, Rochester, NY 14626) and interment at St. Pius X Cemetery (295 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Rochester, NY 14624).  A reception will follow at Red Fedele’s Brook House (920 Elmridge Center Dr., Rochester, NY) starting at 12:15 p.m.
