Rochester, NY: Departed in peace August 23, 2021 at age 83 and lives with Jesus her Savior.
Predeceased by her husband Kenneth W. Weitzel, parents John M. and Constance Paluso, and her brother John M. Paluso Jr. She is survived by her son Kenneth P. Weitzel (Michelle), daughter Susan Goehring (David); grandchildren Joshua, Ryan, Cheyanne, Aaron, and Mackenzie Weitzel; Matthew, Benjamin, and Jonathan Goehring; great-granddaughter, Ariyah Weitzel; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joan enjoyed musicals and flower gardening. She made the best cuccidatis.
A memorial service will be held on Monday August 30th, at 10 AM at Hope Lutheran Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626. There will be no prior calling hours.
