Lane “Roger” Bailey (Hoss): Avon, Portageville
Roger passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with ALS. He was predeceased by his parents Ward Bailey and Maxine Beardsley. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rosemary, stepdaughter Tina (Justin) Lippa, granddaughters Courtney (Nicholas) DiMartino and Kathryn Lippa, brother-in-law David (Ellen) Tarmino, siblings Wayne (Donna) Bailey, Duane (Cindy) Bailey, Lorraine (Walter) Scott, Dale Bailey, Sue (Brad) Kenyon, Craig (Kathy) Bailey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Roger was touched by the love and generosity of special family members including sister Valerie (Guy) Pirdy, sister-in-law Fran her husband Bob Brooks, Aunt Jean and Uncle Joe Santacroce, Aunt Amy Cirri, and cousin Judy Warth. Roger was a loving daddy to his fur babies Josie and Rita and will be sadly missed by them.
Roger enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee, anything to do with farming, and the Buffalo Bills. At Roger’s request, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
