Vincent Stanley Bialobok passed away on November 1, 2021, at the age of 85. Vince was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Stella (Chotkowski) Bialobok, and youngest son Bruce, in 2017. He is survived by his wife Linda (Miller), sons Paul (Amy Zelazny) and Jeffrey (Christine), daughter-in-law Alison Reidy-Bialobok, special grandson Robert Vincent Reidy-Bialobok, sister-in-law Carol Lasher, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Vincent served honorably in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid from 1955-1959, traveling to many ports worldwide. Following that, he was employed by the General Electric Company and retired in 1995 after 35 years of dedicated service.
Vince was involved in the Boy Scouts of America and served as both a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster for many years. He was a charter member of the Greater Amsterdam Volunteer Ambulance Corps (G.A.V.A.C), and a member and former Master of the Amsterdam Masonic Lodge #84.
Vince loved to hunt with his close buddies from County Line Camp in the Adirondacks. As an outdoor enthusiast, Vince also enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing with family and friends. Camping and traveling with his wife Linda and friends were also memorable times.
Vincent was born in Schenectady, NY and lived in the Amsterdam area until moving to Rochester, NY with Linda in 2019 to be closer to family.
Interment at St. John’s cemetery and a reception will be held in Spring 2022 in Amsterdam with notification to follow. Donations may be made to: Amsterdam Masonic Lodge, 34 Division St, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
