On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Elizabeth Jane (Chester) Thiele, Loving mother and grandmother, entered her eternal rest at her Fairport home surrounded by her loving family
Elizabeth is survived by her 7 children; Kathleen (Brian) Goldweber, Douglas (Sandy Pyle-Moyer) Thiele, June Schwartz, Dennis (Maria) Thiele, Elizabeth (Al) Vieira, Daniel (Michelle Murtagh) Thiele, Julie (Michael Kaseman) Gonzalez. 16 Grandchildren; Jacqueline (Ed), Steven (Sara), Matthew, Laura, Emily, Bradley (Kirstie), Rachel (Mike), Joel (Rebecca), John, Katri, Joseph, Nina, Alyssa, Ryan, Robert and Katherine. 15 Great-Grandchildren, her sister Mary D’Amico, several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her Step-Grandchildren; Jeffrey, Beth, Amy, Alfred, Steven, Candace and Trevor
Elizabeth was born on August 5, 1932 in Geneva, NY, the youngest of 10 children born to Ralph and Margaret Chester descending from Bojano, Italy
Elizabeth had a passion for life – Family, reading, exercise, cooking and most of all her love and pride in her grandchildren. She also loved to travel back and forth from New York to Florida and leaves her dear friends in Pembroke Pines, FL. Elizabeth was predeceased by 8 of her loving brothers and sisters.
Elizabeth was known for quick wit, her infectious smile, her energy and zest for life. Rest peacefully in the light mother, we will never stop loving you.
The family will privately celebrate Elizabeth’s life.
