I worked construction with “Cheap” Steve for many years at Kodak Construction. I have shared a few “Buckets” of beer with him, and others!!! Mostly Pipefitters, and they were the Wild Bunch. All good people who had each others back. Everybody liked Steve. He was a good all around good guys. He helped me coach the kids with Greece Community Baseball along with his sons, who knew baseball better than we did. He was a top Welder. He could Weld anything except “The Crack of Dawn and a Broken Heart”. He helped me on many on my projects for Kodak Construction and my “Government” jobs. BTW He got the nickname “Cheap” Steve because he was always trying to get some else to buy the next “Bucket” of beer. All in fun. And he loved it and wore it well. Rest in Peace Brother.
Heartfelt condolences to the Olek and Kuzmik families in the loss of their beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather friend and loved one. May eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, , and let perpetual light shine upon him.
We knew Steve for 26 years. He has always been a good neighbor. Always able to stop and chat out in the yard. I will miss his greeting of “howdy neighbor”. Our thoughts are with you, dear family. We will miss him.
