Burt passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 80.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years Nancy.
He is survived by his children Debbie (Dave) Goff, Kelly Piotrowicz (Bobby Hare), and Tina (Jeff) Goole; Grandchildren Matthew, Brittney, Julia, Gunner and Sarah; Great grandchildren Wesley and River; Brother in law Art (Susie) Simmons; Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Burt was a US Navy veteran. He worked at Kodak until he retired.
He liked to golf in his spare time and was a “jack of all trades”, always fixing or building something for his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed but we are greatful that our mom and dad are now together again.
The family will have a private ceremony at a later date

So sorry for your loss. He will be missed by all of us who worked with him at Kodak. He was always a pleasure to be around and put a smile on our faces! He loved coming to the Roll Coating Luncheon every month and talking with everyone. Burt attended 196 of the monthly luncheons! He helped us check people in and greet them as they came into our monthly luncheons. Burt will be missed by all of us. May God bless you during this difficult time 🙏
Have only known Burt the past 4 years from the Monday golf league in Spencerport……he was 1 of the guys you really liked to golf because of his wit, wisdom, story telling…..he will be greatly missed…my condolences to all hid family and friends
Ron Marafioti, Burt will be sadly missed by the Monday afternoon golf league at pinewood. He was the life of the party. Always busting balls. Everybody got a drink on Burt. He was fun generous and always bragged about his wife and his daughters who had a meal ready for him when he got home from golf. He loved his family and we will miss him and have plenty of stories when golf starts this year. Well miss you Burt.
Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad he was a great neighbor and I always enjoyed spending time with him and Nancy ,.hearing his stories and having a “small”Manhattan . He will greatly be missed. It is hard to believe that it”s been two years that your mom been gone, but I know they are together again. Take care, keeping you and yours in our prayers.
I was saddened to hear of Burts passing. I worked with Burt at Kodak. He was my team leader for a few years. In the mid 80’s while working a “B” trick I recieved a call from my wife that we had lost power in our house. I went home to see if I could figure it out but I had no idea what to even look for. Burt had heard that I had a problem and got my address from the boss and stopped on his way home. Burt spent a couple hours checking things out and found a wire that had shorted out in one of the light switches. To this day I can’t believe that he did that. He didn’t know me that well at the time and he was there to help out a 20 some year old kid. I’ll never forget that act of kindness. Thank you Burt for being the person you were.
