Hilton – Passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at age 63. Gib loved hunting and had a passion to be in the woods. He was proud of his Scottish and Native American heritage. He was a Kansas City Chiefs fan! He loved to golf with his son and friends. Always a jokester. He made us laugh every day. He was a caring and loving father and was always there for his children. He enjoyed being a Grampy to his grandchildren. He was a great friend.
Predeceased by father, Gerald and brother, Eric. Gib leaves his wife, Debra; daughter, Samantha (Ben); son, Jordan (Holly); grandchildren, Isla and Declan; mother, Darleen; sister, Lauren (Shawn); aunt, uncle, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends, neighbors, and coworkers at L3Harris.
Thank you for making me your wife. Thank you for making me a mother to our beautiful children.
…so, take my hand once more. We’ll run down the path, through the pines to the water’s edge. Look up at the stars and full moon shining brightly. Watch the misty fog rise off the still water, swirling, dancing eerie figures. Hear the owl hoot hoot from across the lake. Listen to the loons call to each other with their lonely wails one last time. Then, and only then, will I let go of your hand. Forever in our hearts. Always smiling. Always laughing. Always in Love.
Until we meet again, my love…
I feel a great loss…..we were very close as children. Watched him, his brother and sister during one summer. Families always getting together…..we were like brothers and sisters…..His dad was my favorite uncle, my dad’s brother and his mom was my favorite aunt, my mom’s sister…..thoughts and prayers to the family. 🙏🏼❤️
Sorry to hear about Gib. I was her supervisor @ L3Harris. He was a great person. Very caring. R.I.P.
I am saddened by Gib’s passing. We worked together at L3Harris since 2004 when I met Gib at Gerber plant in the PClean department. I would see him whenever I visited the Building 601 Machine Shop. I will miss seeing him and saying hello. God Speed Gib!
Gib was a great person to work with. Jokester for sure, I knew if he messed with you he liked you . Hits home when you see that he was my age . God bless you Gib and to quote a late uncle of mine , ” Never good bye always see you later ” . Your friend Joe.
