Passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 81.
Jim is predeceased by parents, Irene Calkins, James B. Calkins and brother Robert P. Calkins.
Survived by domestic partner, Kelly McGillicudy; his children Scott Calkins (Christina King), Jodi Calkins and James R. Calkins II; his siblings John T. Calkins and Diane Calkins; grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Jim was a veteran who served in the Military Police in the United States Army. He was a mason contractor owning his own company in Rochester, NY for many years.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 19th at 9:30AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester, NY 14615.
