Paul Weise, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and respected professional, passed away at home on January 15, 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Joan; his sons, Greg (Rita), Jeff (Alanna), and Kevin (Carrie); and his treasured grandchildren, Natalie, Tyler, Austin, Adeline, and Lorelai.
Born on June 3, 1945, in Washington DC, and raised in Scranton, PA, Paul graduated from NJIT with a degree in Chemical Engineering. His career, spanning over 47 years, included tenures at Eastman Kodak and ERM. Paul’s journey through life was marked by dedication, warmth, and an indelible spirit that touched everyone he met. He leaves behind a legacy of love and integrity and will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on February 10 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Blvd, Rochester, NY.
To Joan and Paul’s immediate family, you have our condolences during this difficult time. Paul was a generous friend to me in our early years growing up in the same church and neighborhood. To other friends of Paul who may not know, he was multi-talented. Played the organ during Sunday services, won softball contests as a pitcher(FastPitch) all the while earning “A” grades in school. All in the same week!
Finally, phone converstions in the past few years, Paul shared some of the medical issues he was dealing with (praising Joan for her support), with dignity and braveness to be admired.

My condolences to the Weise family. I worked with Paul at Kodak over several years and traveled to conferences with him as well. Also played softball with him and enjoyed time at the cottage on Keuka Lake. Would often swing by to see if he was out while cruising the lake. My brother-in-laws family also rented the cottage several times over the years before buying their own place on the lake. My family would join him during many of those times. He will be fondly remembered!!
