With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dawn Helen (Bicek) Mann, a beloved wife, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024, at the age of 59, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born in Naperville, Illinois, on October 15, 1964, to the late Donald Edward Bicek (d. 2003) and the late Starlene Ann (Olson) Bicek (d. 2008), Dawn was a proud graduate of Penfield High School (Chiefs) in 1982. She furthered her education at the Foreman Center for cosmetology, where she graduated in the same year. Dawn’s passion for cosmetology led her to a successful career in the field, bringing beauty and joy into the lives of her clients. Her creative talent, coupled with her warm and caring nature, made her a cherished figure in her profession.
Dawn is survived by her devoted husband, Steve Mann; her siblings, Chris Bicek and Michelle (Scott) Pluzynski; her uncle, Ron (Marilyn) Olson; and her in-laws, John and Sharon VanDusen, Wendy (David Ragaisis), Chris (Magdalene) Mann, and Beth (Andy) Hall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will deeply miss her. Dawn was a beacon of light and kindness, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
