Debbie Adamski - Rochester Cremation

Churchville, NY- Debbie Adamski, born on March 14th 1958, passed on March 16th 2024 at the age of 66. Predeceased by her beloved husband Mark Adamski & her parents Virginia and Edwin VanVoorhis. Survived by her two children Jayme (Alan Knapp) & Kyle Abbott (Ashley Matott), her adored grandson Silas Knapp, & five siblings: Steven VanVoorhis, Linda Patten, Lori VanVoorhis, Amy Dibble, & Rick VanVoorhis. Survived additionally by Mark’s parents Mary & Leo Adamski, his children Pat (Robin) & Kevin Adamski, and his grandchildren Kora & Finn Adamski.

Debbie enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers. She enjoyed meeting up with her friends to watch and discuss their favorite television shows. Every summer she watched out her front window for the two hummingbirds that returned every year to her home after winter. Debbie enjoyed being outside in the sun whether it was laying out relaxing or being in the garden. Debbie and Mark enjoyed traveling which included trips to Hawaii and Myrtle Beach. Debbie loved listening to music; especially Rod Stewart, Cher, & Adele. Before retiring, Debbie spent her career driving transportation for the Rush Henrietta CSD.

A celebration of life will be held in the near future. Debbie and Mark will be put to rest together at White Haven Memorial Park in May.

    I am so sorry to hear of Deb’s passing. As a younger cousin, I remember she was the “cool” older cousin. She had a look in her eyes when she smiled as though she was up to something, and it ultimately would end in laughter.

    As a lifelong friend of Mark, I know how deeply he loved Debbie, and how happy she made him. They were made for each other. So sorry to hear of Debbie’s passing.
