Rochester, NY: March 16, 2024.
Francis, known as Greg by all, passed away on March 16, 2024. He had suffered many years with Parkinson’s disease and was a resident of M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center this past year.
After retirement from Kodak and Dorschel Automotive, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never missed a game. And he always enjoyed conversing with those he came in contact with on a daily basis. He had a very humorous side and he enjoyed harassing friends and family when needed. He will be greatly missed by all.
Greg is predeceased by his mother, Irene Stock, and his sister, Cheryl Brown. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stock; son Robert Stock (Eva); son Markie DeMara; daughter Kimberly DeMara (Mike); grandson (Marley Michael) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Thank you to the staff at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center for their loving care of Greg and to the staff of the Ontario County hospice for making sure Greg was comfortable during his last days. We also thank both for the support they provided to the family.
Any donations can be made in Greg’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
Per Greg’s wishes, no calling hours or a burial service will be held.
