Catherine E. Albanese, 88, passed away peacefully on April 19 at Highland Hospital after a brief illness.
Cathie was born on June 17, 1935 in Mt Vernon, NY. As a daughter of a lifelong naval sailor the family lived in Rhode Island, Hawaii and California before they moved to Syracuse, NY where she met and married Anthony Albanese. She was a resident of Baldwinsville, NY and an insurance adjustor for Utica Mutual and CNA insurance companies until she retired in Bradenton, FL. and ultimately settled in Webster, NY.
She is predeceased by her husband Anthony, daughter Maria Steinbrecher, great grand daughter Gabriella Quinn and daughter in law Deborah Albanese. She is survived by her two
sons Joseph (Carol) of Webster and Tony of Baldwinsville and was immensely proud of her five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and 3 god children.
Cathie loved to travel and was an incredibility talented sewist.
A graveside burial will be at Assumption Cemetery on June 1.
