Kristine Morea age 77 of Lima, passed peacefully on August 3, 2024. Born the daughter of John Morea and Shirley Sherer on December 7th, 1946 in Buffalo, NY. She was raised in East Aurora and relocated with her family to Rochester, NY. She graduated from East High School and worked as a Controller at a local Hotel. Shortly after beginning her family, she resigned from the Hotel to continue her education. Kristine was always known for her dedication and driven work ethic both, personally and professionally. While attending GCC, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and received a Degree in Nursing while undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments. After graduating she worked, as a LPN with special needs children for the remainder of her career until she retired. She is survived by her sister Melinda Tewell (James). Children, Sean G. Maracle (Simona English) Shannon Zenner and Cory Daniels (Lauren) and 5 Grandchildren, Sean M. Maracle, Evyn Zenner, Andrew Maracle-Yencer, Kylie Maracle( Brayden Berbeneciuc), Lyndsie Zenner(James Maggio jr) several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John and Shirley, Brother Steven and Sister Gretchen. Kristine enjoyed spending time with friends & family, dancing and listening to the Eagles. Kristine also enjoyed being a member and spending time at the falcon trap and gun club of Mumford Ny; And Kristine may only have 2 biological children but was MOM and GRANDMA to many of the kids she knew through her children. Friends & Family may gather for A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at the Avon Driving Park from 12pm-10pm.
Beautiful smile for a beautiful mother. While we never met, your light clearly shines through your daughter Shannon who I recently met. RIP and May Creator hold and keep you forever!
My beautiful grandma. Thank you for all the strength and knowledge you blessed me with over the past 19 years. Thank you for putting me on track and showing me the career I ended up loving. I bet you’re the prettiest angel up there right now. I love you until we meet again sweet angel.
