Shannon went to rest with the Lord on August 26,2024 at age 78. She was a very loved sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She loved nature, music, and had a strong faith in God that was instilled in her by her mother. Predeceased by her mother E. Valma (Gosson) Wood, her father Roy G. Wood, her brother John (Jack) Wood, and two nephews. She is survived by her spouse of 30 years, Richard (Rick) Perez, daughters Laura (Jerry) Cuderman, Wendy (Eric) Carney, son Scott (Julie) Wood, and her sister E. Sharon (Wood) Migliaccio. She is also survived by her five amazing grandchildren, Blaire and Shane Carney, Christian Cuderman, and Gosson and Annie Wood. Additional surviving extended family members include two nieces and their families, her lifelong best friend Ann LaBella, and many other close friends.

My dear brother, Wendy, Scott, Laura and families. I am sorry for your loss. Shannon was a wonderful person. I enjoyed visiting with her and my brother when they lived in Utica. She is now at peace.
