Frederick (Rick) Joseph Hayden-Larson passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at his home in Rochester, New York with his closest friends Craig Fisher and Scott Schafer by his side.
Rick was born on April 26, 1958 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He arrived first into the world, followed by his twin brother,
Rick grew up in the High Park/Junction area of Toronto and lived in the “village” for quite a few years. After meeting David Larson in 1994, Rick moved to Rochester. The two were married in Toronto on August 13, 2004 and enjoyed a happy life together in New York. Even after David’s passing, Rick wanted to stay near his friends in the Rochester area.
Rick is predeceased by the love of his life and husband, David Larson (May 20, 2020);Lady Bear, Beezer and Jackson (their pets) ; Harold and Nora (parents) , Carl and Mildred Larson (in-laws) and twin brother, Edward.
Sadly missed by his sister, Linda and her family. Missed by his extended family out East.
Rick talked fondly of his chosen family and many friends. His vigor for life and his vibrant sense of humor will forever be missed.
