Anne Lydia Socha born 7/5/48 peacefully passing on 9/13/24. Anne is predeceased by her parents Hazel Vincent and Mel Brinkerhoff, sister Sally Albanese, and brother Carlos Brinkerhoff. She is survived by her children: Peter Soule, Thomas (Heather) Socha, and Shannon (Mike) Pille. Grandchildren: Jake, Rachael, and Joe. Sisters: Susan Katz and Mary (Joe) Chentnik. Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Anne loved to travel, moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico for several years before returning home to Rochester, NY. Anne retired as a massage therapist after 23 years.
Anne gathered many healing traditions over a lifetime of learning. In 1998, she graduated from the Crystal Mountain Massage School. In 2002, she was the very first graduate of the Qi Gong Institute of Rochester’s Qigong Therapy program. In 2004, she graduated from Fellowship of the Spirit as a Reverend, Metaphysician, and Psychic Medium. She continued to develop her spiritual evolution with Shamanic healing since 2007 and was initiated in the tradition of the Four Directions, a Peruvian tradition. She also completed training as a Reiki Master. Anne combined these powerful tools together to create her own unique and compassionate healing sessions.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Aurora House of Western Monroe County. Calling hours will be held Monday September 23, 2024 from 12PM to 2PM, followed by a Memorial service at 2PM at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534.

    Anne wad such a kind, wise & likeable person. Although I only knew her the last few years, she made a lasting, positive impression. She will be missed by many people. May she rest in eternal peace & light.

      Anne was near and dear to my heart and a big part of my life ,we had many adventures here in NM together, she was a loving friend,mentor,teacher .I miss her dearly. Rest in peace my dear Anne. XOXOXO 😘
