Marcia Kushner - Rochester Cremation

Marcia J. Kushner passed peacefully on Friday, September 20th, 2024 surrounded by love. Born in Rochester, NY on July 30, 1957 to Francis C. Wanjon (dec) and Lois G. Wanjon. Survived by her devoted husband Richard A. Kushner; children, Gary (Becky) Mascioletti, Tamara (Glen) DeFranco, Ali (Jerad) Henderson and step-children, Bridget Kushner, Matthew (Stefany) Kushner; grandchildren, Lily Mascioletti, Aliyah, Logan & Chase DeFranco, Madeleine Pallas, Sofia Batista, Mason & Isla Kushner; siblings Michele (Robert) King and Michael (Stephanie) Wanjon, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends and relatives. Her home will continue to be protected by her playful and loving dog, Abbie. Marcia will be remembered through the love she brought into the world and the lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Northridge Church, 2052 St. Paul St. Rochester, NY 14621 on September 30, 2024 at 3pm. Dress casual.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aurora House Comfort Care Home 2495 S. Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 where Marcia and family were cared for with compassion and love.

    I am so sorry! Marcia was in my homeroom and we ran into each other every once in awhile over the years. Marcia was so kind, so friendly and such a positive person. I am so saddened to learn of her passing.

    Marcia had a sweet, quiet spirit and always a smile. We reconnected after 40 years and it felt like we were in 10th grade again. I feel so blessed to have had Marcia in my life.

    I was in homeroom with Marcia at Arcadia. I remember her as a sweet girl with a glowing smile. My condolences to her family and friends.
