Ada “Mavis” Rossborough
Rochester, NY – October 5th, 2024, at age 90. Mavis is predeceased by parents Beulah and Merville Schuttee, brother George Schuttee, nephew Steven Schuttee, and great-grandchild Teagan Rossborough. She is survived by daughter Lisa (Scott) Osiecki; son Thomas (Marie) Rossborough; grandchildren Alec (Rachel) Osiecki, Weston (Kristen) Rossborough, Adam Osiecki, Jenna (Michael) Cheesbro; great-grandchildren Celice & Ambrose Osiecki; as well as many other nieces and nephews, cousins, & friends. Mavis graduated from Nunda High School, Class of 1951. She is retired from Glass Fab Inc, was a longtime active member of St. Luke’s Church in Fairport & the Perinton Recreation Center. She was dedicated to caring for her family, friends, and many pets over the years. While living in Fairport she enjoyed long strolls through the neighborhood and along the Erie Canal. She enjoyed attending church, family vacations in the Adirondacks and Cape Cod, board games with friends, shows at Geva theater, gardening, tending her bird feeders, and knitting.
Many thanks to the dedicated staff at St. John’s Home for their compassionate care these past few years and to the RRH Hospice staff that provided guidance, support, and comfort during her final transition.

A private family memorial will be held later this fall to celebrate Mavis’s life.
I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Mavis was a great person. I have memories of her that I will cherish for always. Prayers and condolences to the family. Love you guys!
