Dave was a close friend in High School and we reunited a few times over the years. I will always remember how sweet and fun he was. He could be such a goofball sometimes and he had a great sense of humor. I will miss his laugh and his smile along with his loyal friendship. I will also miss listening to him play his guitar. We shared a love for hard rock and heavy metal, so whenever I perform something by Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden, I will toast to him! I will keep him alive in my memories. Rest in Peace, Dave. 🤘❤️
Known Dave most of my life, we became close friends in 7th grade at JP in Fairport after I moved back from California where my family lived for 4 years due to a Xerox transfer. We spent a ton of time together, along with several other friends. Most of us were either band geeks, played some kind of instrument or just loved Rock and Heavy Metal music. Always remember Dave loving the band Stryper and other Christian rock bands for a period of time. I’m hoping to restore and digitize several audio recordings Dave and I did over the span of the mid 80s to the late 90s. First guitar player I ever jammed with as a drummer. Pretty much all of our mutual friends were about music and having a good time. Such a kind soul, who loved everyone. We all get old and have our own paths we go on. Time Flys and a lot of time goes by. We kind of lost track of each other the past decade, so I’m sorry I didn’t know or wasn’t around during his battle with cancer or to just enjoy hanging out. Dave loved the cinema. We used to go to the movies all the time. Comedy was of course his favorite genre. RIP funny Dude, luvu man. Prayers for the DePierro family.
So much love to you, Deb, and your family. I see you in this picture of David. I will always think of you both when I eat a girl scout cookie. Love you and will always be here for you! Chris and Mike

Once a raider, always a raider. Love, Lisa Laurro (my dad is Ben Laurro)
Dave was such a great friend in high school. Of course we grow apart as life changes, however, since his passing I have thought about how much the time with him meant. I don’t think I could call life complete without those memories. Dave and I could make a day out of going to record store and picking up a new tape and listening to it for the rest of the afternoon. Those were the days and with Dave every day was filled with laughs, good times and that huge smile of his. Rest In Peace Dave. You made many lives better just by being you!
Carol and Joe so sorry to learn of David’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Cousin Barbara Coppock.
