Webster NY: April 6th, 2017 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his parents, George & Helen Harrington; brother, Thomas Harrington; sister Nancy Hurlbert. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sabra; children, Debra (Bob) Dacey, George Harrington, Susan (Bruce) Kingma, Kathleen (Russ) Shipley & Sabra (Doug) Schimpf; grandchildren, John Bandelin, Patrick & Sabra Geiger, George Kingma, Erin & Michael O’Dell, Dan & Clayton Shipley, & Anna, Jennifer, Caroline & Peter Schimpf; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Steves; and many dear friends.
George devoted his life to his family and his company, Harrington Toner Mfg Co. Early in his life George started the George Harrington Co. Inc. serving the schools, churches & companies with sales and service of copying equipment, then adding on Harrington Toner Mfg. Co. Inc., developing toners with his own formulations and distributing nationwide.
George’s memorial service to be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center in memory of him.
I am sorry to read of George’s passing, may he already be in heaven. My sincere condolences to the family.
