Panosian, Varsi (Missirian)
Brighton, June 4th 2017
Beloved wife of the late James Panosian. Varsi was the daughter of the late Haik and Nevart Missirian. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her twin brother Edward Missirian.
Varsi is survived by her daughters, Karen Panosian (Alan Salmons) and Judy Panosian (Andrew Zahn), and her son, Gary Panosian; also several loving nieces and nephews and dear friends.
As Varsi wished, there will be no formal service or calling hours. This summer, friends and family will be invited to a celebration of Varsi’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Armenian Library and Museum of America, 65 Main St. Watertown, MA 02472.
We were so sad to hear of Varsi’s passing. We have lots of wonderful memories of her! Laurie working with her with the Master Gardeners’ and on projects for Greater Rochester Perennial Society. Varsi always was first to volunteer to help set up special events for dinners & parties at CCE for both groups. And offer her home for our meetings. I think of her always in the late spring when her pink lily-of-the-valleys are blooming in my yard! And the white anemones – white, shining, happy little flowers – just like Varsi was! She was a sweetheart and will be missed by all who knew her.
