Age 90. Passed away peacefully 07/01/2017. Elmer was a Navy Veteran of World War II, receiving the Victory Metal. He is predeceased by his parents, Elmer A. Wanglien , Goldie Lawson Wanglien and sister June Wanglien Coombs. He is survived by his loving wife Betty J. Wanglien, children, Sharon(Norbert)Keller,Nancy(Gregory)Sprague,Thomas(Julie)Wanglien. Grandchildren, Michelle(Steven)Bronocki,Norbert(Heather)Keller,Bobbi Jean(John)Danebrock,Matthew and Jason Sprague,Danielle(Ryan)Kane,Thomas and Cameron Wanglien,Gregory(Sarah)Lewis,Richard(Angela)Lewis.Great Grandchildren Danni Danebrock,Conner Bronocki,Jordan and Halle Jacobs,Parker, Preston,Kenneth, and Liliana Lewis. Sister-in law, Mildred Murray. Many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held on Sunday July 9th at 1:00pm, United Rush Methodist Church, 6200 Rush Lima Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the WoundedWarriorproject.org in Elmer’s name.
