Maureen Finegan (nee Eagan) was born on February 25, 1947 in Rochester, New York. Maureen is predeceased by her parents, Austin and Mary Eagan (nee Maloney).Maureen passed away after a very brief illness on September 4th, 2017. Maureen leaves behind her three children: Wendie, Kevin, and Timothy (Fennessy). Maureen also leaves behind her five loving and devoted grandchildren: Timothy, Gabriel, Leo, and Lydia Benitez, as well as sweet Jordan Fennessy. They will miss her so….
Maureen is predeceased by her sister, Kathleen, but leaves behind her loving sister Eileen LaPorte (Eagan) and brother Patrick Eagan. Cousins include Mary Swartz, P.J. Maloney, Steve O’Brien, and Mary Ellen McMahon…(also Shayne). Too many to include in this space…they all know who they are.
Maureen was well known for her wicked sense of humor (Irish attributed) and her love and devotion to the mission of recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction, from where she did her best work in her life on earth.
A proper send off will occur in early November, 2017 so that a reasonable amount of time can be given for everyone to gather. More details will be followed up privately by Wendie Fennessy.

I never got to meet Mo in person but communicated almost daily,and we became friends.I will always be happy that we share the same granddaughter,Jordan Fennessy’s. We will miss her.Rest in peace Mo!
