Carl C. Hill

Pittsford, NY:  It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Carl C. Hill passed away peacefully on October 26th 2017 surrounded by loved ones.  Born on February 26th, 1937, he was 80 years old.  He is preceded by his wife of 49 years Marjorie Hill and survived by his 6 children Cindy Visbaras(Kirk),Carl Hill (Michele), Denise Cartwright(Lavergne), Kathy Malloy(Chris), Mary Prosser(Craig), and Sharon Cossette(Mike)as well as 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.  He was a devoted Amerks hockey fan and worked at the Blue Cross arena as a goal judge for 25+ years rarely missing a game.

It is often said that a funeral is for the living, so we invite you to celebrate the life of Carl who was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.  We will be holding a service onNovember 5th at 2:30pm at the Moose Lodge (5375 W Henrietta Rd, West Henrietta NY 14586) with food and drinks to follow.

While he has left an empty place in our hearts, he also provided us with a lifetime of memories.

    Sheryl and I send our condolences. Carl was a fine man who I had the opportunity to work with at the Knighthawks games. Unfortunately we will be unable to attend the celebration of his life because we will be on vacation.

    I was very sad to hear of his passing. I know he was having his struggles and now is in a better place. He is at peace with Marge and is looking down smiling at all of you. I am so sorry for all the family’s loss. Love ya all and will see you at his celebration.

    I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Carl, I feel fortunate to have known and was able to spend some time together working with him on both The Hockey and Lacrosse officiating teams. He will surely be missed by the many friends that have come to known him. I send you my deepest sympathy in this time of great sorrow, God Bless you and your Family.
