Sadness fills my heart and mind at the thought that our family lost one of its champions. Cousin Sandra was very loving and kind. Yet she could and would set you straight with that same firmness.
I enjoyed many of those attributes over the past 3 months as we got to talk while I was home.
She will always be loved and forever missed.
Sending my condolences. I have known Sis. Sandra for a very long time. She was an AMAZING person. We had great conversations and she had a great sense of humor. She will truly be missed. I am blessed to have known her. She fought till the end. My prayers are with her family.

I will never forget the day she drove to Buffalo to watch me do a speaking engagement for my certification. She gave me wonderful advice and it meant so much to me having her there. Rest in paradise cousin I love you so much

Our Condolences to you all. May God grant you comfort and strength during this time.❤️❤️❤️
I knew Mrs. Fink for about 6 months. Throughout that time, she was my tutor. There was a time where I didn’t know if I was going to graduate high school. Because of her, I am in college pursuing my dreams. I want to say thank you Mrs. Fink for putting your faith in me to help me pass. Thank you for the flowers you bought me when I did pass. I owe my success to you.
My heart was saddened when I heard. My prayers goes out to Patrick Fink and family. God bless.
My heart dropped when I heard that Sister Sandra had passed. She was a sweet, loving and kind person and will be greatly missed. Our family’s prayers and thoughts are with the grieving family in this time and we sincerely hope you all will find comfort in God. Love,
The Barr family
Sandra, I am so happy that you and Patrick met each other and I am so blessed to have spent so much time with both of you. Your wonderful smile and your one of a kind self are gone too soon.
Sandra made sure that my dad’s brother(Uncle Joe) got to say goodbye to him a before he passed away a few years ago! She and Patrick and Aunt Frances drove to Tennessee from New York and I know my dad was truly grateful so was I!
Rest Easy……
Although my heart is heavy on the transition of my cousin Sandra, I want to celebrate her life. Sandra was a wonderful and warm human being. I shall always cherish the times she came to our home, growing up. Sandra brought with every visit such light, such sunshine, and humor whether it was at our home, another relative’s home, family picnics and gatherings, or at church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (in Buffalo) on Sundays and other times and choir rehearsals. Sandra was the type of person who knew how to put one at ease. I didn’t see Sandra as much in later years after we grew up, but will hold dear the few conversations we had and the advice she gave me. Feeling forever thankful that we were able to speak by telephone, hearing her voice, although light, a few weeks before she returned to the Creator. I will celebrate Sandra’s life by cherishing the sweet memories I have of her.💜
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
2 Corinthians:5:8
As a Christian, and a family member of Sandra Fink, I and many of my relatives, stand in affirmation to this holy scripture for we are children of God and followers of Christ.
I am very proud to know that my cousin Sandra committedly loved our Lord, which was quite evident in her life and how she treated not only her family members but others as well.
Although cousin Sandra’s death is shocking and unbelievable, I know that me and our family will be reunited with Sandra; along with many other family members who preceded her in death.
Thank you for your love, support and guidance cousin Sandra. I will always love you!!!

Well Sandra, I guess it really is time to say “goodbye.” I was so glad that Darryl and I got to be with you one last time. How do I let you go? You’re the one who used to hold my hand and helped teach me to walk. You’re the one who literally saved my life when I was two years old. You’re the one who steered bullies away from me. As I grew up, you’re the one who trusted me with watching over your first born child, just like Mom and Dad always trusted you with me. Through the years of triumph and pain that Life always offers, you’re the one who was always there for me – when I got married, raised a family, lost my mother, lost my father – you’re the one who how to share just the right word of kindness, blessing me with comfort, wisdom, and love. You were my cousin, but oh so much more!!! You were my big sister, my mentor, my friend. I love you more than my own life. Until we meet again San, God Bless You. Rest well.

Sandra was precious to me. As the years go by, certain individuals in our lives rise to the forefront as major, exceptional influences on our lives. Their guidance and unabashed love form who we are and the beliefs for which we stand. In my life, Sandra was such a person. She was more than a cousin, more than a babysitter, even more than a sister. She was an inspiration, the light at the end of the tunnel. She was a member of that small, special group of those near and dear whose words were more than words. Her words, the look in her eyes, a warm hug, even the sound of her voice touched my heart and soul. With Sandra’s transition a part of me has departed as well. However, I take pride in knowing that today I am a better me because of Sandra.
