Romulus, NY – On April 29th, 2018, Alicia Marie (Fish) Bockoras, 36, lost her battle with many physical issues and passed peacefully away leaving her family to mourn her sudden loss. She was a driven person who aimed high to please all those that entered her life. Her children were always most important to her and she often worked extra to see to their needs. She had recently returned to her home state of New York and was so proud of putting her kids and family back together. She loved helping others whether it was cleaning their homes, fixing them a meal, giving them a ride, or watching their children. She worked diligently and successfully as a CNA for many years plus worked numerous other odd jobs.
Alicia made many friends throughout her travels, including her best friend Loribeth from high school. At age of 28, Loribeth lost her battle with her latest liver transplantation. Loribeth’s sudden death impacted Alicia immensely. During this period, Alicia became a adamant advocate for organ donation. Although Alicia’s life has ended prematurely, she lives on through her multiple organ donations.
Alicia was born on August 1st, 1981 to her parents, Patricia A. (Burns) Fish and Stephen S. Fish. Survived by her mother, Patricia A. Fish; her brothers, Robert F. Miller and Michael P. Miller; her children, Everett A. Fish, Samantha E. Bockoras and Kathryn G. Thompson. Husband, Jeremiah N. Bockoras; and special friend, James A. Thompson.
