Henrietta, NY – May 24, 2018 at age 58. Sina is predeceased by her parents, Aron & Deborah Gluck; survived by daughters, Arielle & Brianna McCarthy; brother, Joseph Weiss; sister, Ilana Oren.
Sina was an ASL instructor for NTID/RIT and St. John Fisher College. She was a member of Deaf Women of Rochester & ASLTA. She had a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in photography from NYIT and a Masters in Education from SFSU. Sina enjoyed Kayaking, photography, spirituality, arts, healthy lifestyle, organic foods, dancing and much more. Sina was a lovely person and will be missed by all who knew her.
Sina Memorial Service will be held, July 1, 2018 at NTID/RIT during NTID’s 50th year reunion.
Sina was my ASL instructor and friend at NTID. I’m so sorry to learn of her passing. My deepest condolences to her family.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Sina, my thoughts and prayers to the family.
I miss her and she is a wonderful colleague and a friend. I loved her and always will. She is everything as a person. She has two daughters and she’s just a wonderful mother to them and is wonderful friend to everyone she knew. You always will be in my heart and mind everyday. I love you sina McCarthy.
