Rochester, NY: Died on February 8th, at the age of 63, of liver cancer. Beloved husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, and friend to many. Lenny is survived by his wife and partner of seventeen years, Susan Vaccarella; his sons Ryan Mullen (Lisa), Joey Mullen (Christine), daughter Brianna; stepchildren Joe Vaccarella (Kristina), Bob Vaccarella (Julie), and Amy Vaccarella (John). Fun-loving and playful grandfather to Aiden, Preston, Joey, Anna, Noah, Leo, and Nina. He is also survived by his first wife Muriel Chatt and siblings Nancy Mullen, Thomas “Buck” Mullen (Lisa), Mary Hathaway (Scott), Tammy Seamen (Zeke), Johnny Mullen, and Pat Mullen. Lenny had many cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he was very close with as well.
Lenny was well known in his community as a loyal friend, a kind neighbor, and a thoughtful caretaker of individuals who needed support and companionship. He was a curious and social person who loved to travel; making friends everywhere he went. He brought joy, support, and unconditional love to his family and friends.
A celebration of Lenny’s life is being planned for later in August.
