Rochester, NY: June 12, 2019. Levinson, Aileen Nichols, Smith is survived by daughters Dylan Mariah, Wendy Smith and Judith Maier (Ted Soszynski), Granddaughter Melissa DeFord (Colin DeFord) and grandson Pablo Maier Munoz, and great grandchildren Pilar and Chloe. She is predeceased by husbands Hy Levinson and Robert Smith as well as her parents Perry and Aileen Nichols.
She attended the University of Vermont, Post College, Long Island University and NYU. An educator, she worked for the State Education Department and established a vocational education program for inner city youth and out of school adults. She was also a consultant for the Boston School District, a teacher in suburban Albany and on Long Island.
Aileen lived a long and rich life active in community service and events and was an enthusiastic Bridge player. She was a past member of the RochesterWomen’s Club, the Century Club, the Althaneum, the American Association of University Women and the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.
She will be deeply missed by many, many people throughout and beyond the Rochester area.
Services will be held Saturday, June 22nd at 10:30am with a reception at Noon at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church, 77 Country Corner Lane, Fairport, NY.
What a beautiful lady. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Aileen’s passing. She was a gracious, beautiful lady and I have very fond, happy memories of many trips we took to New York, Vermont and Florida as well as golf and bridge at Midvale Country Club.
Dylan I am so sorry to about your Mom’s passing. You were a loyal and strong daughter. I am sure she was very proud of you. I hope all your memories give you some comfort in the time ahead.
