Ardis L. Nerby (Updyke)
Rochester: Faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018. Born June 22, 1928 in Jackson, MI to Howard and Cora (Dodds) Updyke. Predeceased by devoted husband of 49 years, Richard S Nerby and brother, Wynn F Updyke. Survived by her 3 loving daughters: Catherine (Christopher) Collins, Valerie (Roger) Roach, and Elizabeth Deutsch; grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah) Collins, Jesse Collins, Alison (Aaron) Harrington, Gavin Roach, Marisa Roach, Dustin (Emily) Deutsch, Andrew Deutsch, and Holly Deutsch; great-grandchildren, Finn, Emmett, and Gemma Collins, Tessa, Lilah, and Colin Harrington; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Nerby) Tennison and June Updyke.
Friends may call Saturday, March 24, 11-12 with memorial service to begin at noon at the Park Ridge Free Methodist Church, 10 Straub Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Park Ridge FM Church or Roberts Wesleyan College. Ardis’ family would like to thank those at St Ann’s Home and Lifetime Hospice who lovingly cared for her.
I’m so sorry to hear that your mom has passed. She is now in the loving arms of our Father. May she Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
