Passed away 10/21/2024 at age 84

Betty passed away 10/21/2024 at the age of 84 (just missed her 85 th birthday 11/30/39). Betty was surrounded by family and friends in her home and fought through until the end of her
suffering. Betty survived cancer twice and number 3 was just too much for her tiny body to endure. Betty was such a strong woman and loved her family very much. She absolutely loved
being a grandmother and great grandmother and was overjoyed to be living with Nico and Guiseppe (Joey) so that they could see each other every single day. Joey spent hours every night telling her about his Day (mostly golfing) and she hung on every word. She also loved having her other grandchildren visit (Robbie, Megan and Ronnie) and was super excited when
Robbie brought her great granddaughter Ava Grace or Megan brough her great granddaughter,Veronica to visit her. She was excited that Megan was expecting with her first great grandson
and couldn’t wait to meet him. She will have to look over him from heaven and Megan will tell him all about his Great Grandma Betty. Betty loved every dog and cat she ever met and would have brought in every single one of them to live with her if her daughter Janet would have allowed her, which she did not! Growing up we
had more strays living in the home than kids. She could never stand to see an animal suffer and told her Grandson Joey a few days before she died that she was going to heaven to live
with all the doggies and kitties that she wanted. She knew Johnny would let her have all of them!
Betty is predeceased by her son, John Schultz Bixby, who she was so proud of and loved so much. She was so proud of Johnny’s service as a Navy Veteran and just being such an
awesome son who loved his Mom so much that he called her every day when he was alive. Johnny passed away October 2, 2020 and his Mom constantly made comments how she could not wait to see him again and be with him, which we are sure, she is now with Jonny, thank god. Betty is also predeceased by her younger sister, Nancy Schultz who died several years ago at a
very young age of cancer. Nancy looked just like Betty and was just as feisty and just as much of a fighter. Betty is predeceased by both husbands, Robert Bixby, Sr. and Angelo Fiordeliso.
Bob was a fighter and Ange was a lover. They both loved and adored Betty. Betty is survived by her Daughter, Anita Helms (Surviving her husband Ronald Helms), Son
Robert Bixby Jr., Daughter Barbara Bixby, and Daughter Janet Faticone. She is survived by her loving Grandchildren, Nico Faticone and Guiseppe Faticone, Ronald Helms, Jr and Megan
Helms (Edgardo Salame-Santiago), and Robbie Bixby (Mercy Bixby). As well as greatgrandchildren, Ava Grace Bixby, Veronica Helms, and a new little one on the way. His Mom,
Megan, could not wait for him to meet his Great Grandmother. Betty had a large, very close family and has several siblings surviving her (and some who have
also lost their husbands/her brother-in-laws). Betty is survived by her sister, Grace Brant(surviving her husband, Donald Brant, WWII USMC Veteran and Prisoner of War). Also her
sister Barbara Zingo (Surviving her husband, Frank Zingo, US Army Veteran) and Brother, Clarence Schultz (one and only boy with all sisters. Maybe that is why Uncle Junior is such a tough guy!). Betty was always an extremely hard worker who always provided for her family financially. She worked for 28 years at Eastman Kodak Company and always had side jobs to
bring income in for her family. Betty retired from Kodak and it was very hard for her children to convince her that retirement meant retirement. Her job after retirement was caring for her
grandchildren so their parents could work and only wanted to be paid back in love, hugs andkisses. There are way too many family members to list personally, however, Betty was
extremely close to her niece and namesake, Betty Lyons (Gary Lyons), who always went out ofher way to spend time with her favorite Aunt and make her feel special. Betty took her Aunt
Betty to too many Alan Jackson concerts to count and was always bringing her special and thoughtful gifts. Betty was not happy that Gary was such a great hunter because she loved
animals so much, but she still loved him very much. The family is so thankful and appreciativeof the assistance, competence, compassion and care received from Kathy Viterise at Highland
Palliative Care who also was able to stay with us through Hospice and Taylor Fox from Well Be Senior Medical Care. We could never have gone through this painful and scary process without
the help from these 2 wonderful ladies who went well and beyond what their job requires. We cannot say enough about these 2 amazing young ladies.
Finally, Betty is survived by hundreds (literally hundreds) of nieces, nephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. We would need a book to name them all but she loved each and
every one of them. They all loved sweet Aunt Betty (which is what they called her).

We will be having 1 Full Day of Celebrating Betty’s life and enjoying being together as a family,
a very close, knit loving family! We hope all family and friends can join us.

The family did not bury Robert Bixby, Sr.’s ashes after his church service
due to inclement weather, therefore, we thought it was best we buried our
Mom and Dad together, right beside our brother Johnny. The burial service
will include our Dad, Robert Bixby,
