Scottsville, NY: January 16, 2018 at the age of 79. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James S. Inglis; son, Randy Inglis; brother, Arthur (Natalie) Crawford; sister, Nellie R. “Rosie” Crawford; and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be announced by James at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in Charlotte’s name.
I only knew Mrs. Inglis a short while. But she was a very kind lady who suffered in her last days. I will miss seeing her when I go to their home. RIP:
Dear Jim and Randy,
We are both saddened by the loss of Charlotte. Our time together was brief but our hearts are filled with memories.
Wish we could have gotten back sooner but we still plan to come up in the spring.
Charlotte was a beautiful lady. Our world was reduced by her loss.
Blessings to all of you.

Jim and Randy,
I very sorry for your loss. I didn’t really know Charlotte very well, but I’ll always remember her at the team camp outs we had at Ontario County Park.
Take care,
Ted
Jim and Randy,
Ted posted that he didn’t know Charlotte very well; but I feel I actually did. While Ted and the search and rescue team would be training, Charlotte and Randy(if he wasn’t a subject for training) would invite me and anyone else who was free into their RV. Many times it was so cold that it was a wonderful respite from tent camping or sitting in the car. I learned so much from Charlotte – her job and intricate work that she did and was so proud of. Her love of children. Her humor which made visits especially fun and joyful. Her cooking/baking discussions and advice on what to try and “don’t be afraid”. Coming to the campfire in her “jammies”, coat, boots – gloves and using a stemmed glass for her wine! I have missed the camping trips; but miss our talks and hugs more. I am so sorry for your loss; but know that she is back to being the Charlotte that we knew and loved.
Dear Jim and Randy,
I am very saddened by Charlotte’s passing. I always remember her at the early Comfeds being on the radio and making sure each team and individual reported as planned, signed in and out and were safe. She cared so much for all of us!

Dear Jim & Randy
Deb and I are sorry for your loss. We will always have the fond memories of camping on the hill. She was a great volunteer to SAR in the early years, being on the base radio and documenting all the calls . She will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to the family and close friends of Charlotte. I know that this is a very difficult pain to endure and only time can ease it. Know that there are many around you who will provide the support as needed and that your many memories and the love she had for you will provide the smiles and warmth to get you through.
Randy and Family ,
May God guide you through your loss . My prayers are with you . Stay strong my friend . Peace to all Helene
Dear Jim,
I’m so sorry to learn of Charlotte’s passing. You were a wonderful, kind and loving caregiver in her years of need and I know that she felt that. Her love for you was strong, as evidence of the smile and twinkle in her eye when I asked her how you two had met so many years ago. May you have peace with her passing and remember the love you shared for 55+ years.
Sincerely,
Vicki

Jim
I will miss Charlotte’s laugh and smile. Watching the two of you and your love for each other always warmed my heart. You and Charlotte shared a rare love and I am honored to have known her and to be a part of your lives.
Sending you hugs from Syracuse and sending Zena some extra pets.
