We thank the Farleys for their friendship and guidance when we lived in Rochester. Chris never hesitated to share and give us advice. We will miss her. Our love to the Farleys. Dear Jenna and Rachael,
I am truly sorry for your loss. Your mom had a very strong spirit of faith in her long battle with cancer. I saw her in the grocery store maybe 9 years ago when my son was first diagnosed with cancer. She gave me great hope. Sadly,, Jeff only lived for about 4 months with it. But what I have learned is I am sure you have also learned —-cancer can rob of us many things—but it can not rob us of love, good memories, and our faith.
I was grateful, as I am sure your mom and dad were, that you were free from your jobs to be here with them. A blessing even from the evil coronavirus. (Gretchen told me you were here)
May the days ahead bring support from family and friends and each other.
    Mrs. Sue Fuhrman

May the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus engulf the Farley family at this time of loss. Also allow them to rejoice in Him who has relieved her of these earthly pains, she now is with her Creator who wonderfully made and gave her to us, to enjoy such a beautifully warm spirit, who we knew as Christine. Love to you all.

    Dear Kirk,
Bruce and I are so glad that we got to spend extra time with you and Chris (as well as Chris’ parents) for LTG this past furlough. As others have said, the virus has been an unexpected blessing for your family as it allowed you all so much time together and I thought of that as you were sending out the updates.
Our prayers continue to be for you, Jenna and Rachel from afar in PNG.
    Love and Blessings,
    Laurie & Bruce

    Kirk, Jenna and Rachel,

Chris was one of the kindness, most caring people we have ever had the honor to know. A loving wife, mother, and neighbor, a tireless nurse, and dedicated Christian. We lived across the street from Chris for 15 years, then moved 500 miles away. Chris and your family remained close in heart and spirit despite the distance. Chris a has always there to provide love, support, and often expertise for all of us. Know that she will forever be in our prayers, hearts and memories. We know that nothing anyone can say will take away the pain of your loss, we are here for you if we can provide comfort, help, and support.

    Deepest sympathy,

    The Schanz Family

    Kirk, Jenna, and Rachel,

We are praying for you as you grieve the earthly loss of Chris. The picture you picked for this site is such a wonderful picture of her. To know Chris was to know a gentle soul with genuine love and compassion for people, a woman with strength of mind and spirit that flowed from her intimate walk with her Savior, a cheerful friend with a smile and warm greeting for all, a keen listener and mighty prayer warrior, a sister-in-Christ whose confidence in going through her long battle with cancer reflected her tenacious trust in the God Who created her, and a devoted wife and mom. I’m glad the Lord granted your desire to be together these last weeks of her time on earth. She left a legacy of love, kindness, and service for our Lord and His people. Her love for those who have yet to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ motivated her many actions to reach out to them with the truth of the Gospel. She kept her eye on the prize and ran her race extraordinarily well. Her passing has left a huge hole in your lives and in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May the Lord envelop you in His mighty arms and hold you close as you grieve the loss of your/our precious Chris. May your cherished memories be a source of blessing and comfort in the days ahead. God bless you. Our love and prayers, Eric & Maureen

    Jenna and Rachel,

I still remember visiting for a few nights and your parents would take turns putting you guys to bed, reading stories and praying with you. You guys’ art was always on the frig and later on walls. Dressing for pajama day for the school kids; you both could walk out the door doing crazy stuff because your mom supported you so deeply. She supported us too, waking in the middle of the night to pray for our protection from drug lord unrest. The last time I shared a meal together with your folks, she shared encouraging words I may never forget. She was that caring.

Chris was part of our Dalat School Family. My husband had Chris in high school and remembers what a brilliant student she was. We have been friends with Chris’ parents and sisters for many years (back to college days) and please accept our sympathy . Saw photos of her with her parents and siblings last summer and thought she looked good. Now she is in the presence of her Saviors, free from pain, but it leaves a void in your family and you are all in our prayers. Ed and Claire Miner

    Kirk,
I was just thinking of you and wondering how your wife was doing since we talked last a year and half ago. But when I checked online, I found an obituary for Christine.

My heart goes out to you and your kids for your incredible loss. Sorry I missed the memorial service, if you were even able to open it up to people outside your immediate family, with how crazy and restrictive this year has been due to the Coronavirus.

All the best to you, Kirk. As I’m sure you know now in your daily life, you can lose her physical presence, but you’ll never lose Christine’s spirit. She’s with you every day.

    Brian
