Greece, NY: Deborah (Debby) Schneider passed peacefully on October 27, 2020. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Maria and Alfred Moll; her parents, Virginia and Ewald Schneider; and her sister, Karen Sue MacKay. She is survived by her step-mother, Kay Schneider and her sister, Beth Lyn Schneider-Thommen (Eddie Thommen) as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Born in Rochester, New York, on August 28, 1962, Debby attended School 39, Charlotte and Spencerport High Schools and after graduation, went to Bryant/ Stranton Business College. She worked at Blue-Cross/Blue Shield as a claims processor and recently at Christopher Banks.
Debby battled cancer bravely for several months and her courage and determination were inspiring as well as her faith in the Lord. Many remember Debby for her love of animals and her favorite cats. She loved music and sang in the church choir.
We are grateful for the love and support received from the doctors and nurses at Rochester General, people from the Hildebrandt Center and individuals from Hope Lutheran Church.
Due to current Covid restrictions, Debby’s Memorial Service will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, Fairport, N.Y. 14450; Hildebrandt Hospice Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave Rochester, 14626; or to the charity of your choice.
