Syracuse NY: Eddie L. Nunn, Jr., 72, passed away October 7, 2019 after a long illness. He was an Army Veteran and served in the 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam conflict. He loved to travel, read, and have a good conversation about politics, economics or government. But his most favorite pastime was thoroughbred horses. He would handicap a race and the watch to see if the horse he picked would win. He didn’t have to bet, he just enjoyed watching them race.
He is predeceased by his father, Eddie L. Nunn, Sr. his mother Bernice Brown Nunn, and his brother Carl Nunn. He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Hinds Walker Nunn, son David Waddell, stepson Michael Walker (Shondra), stepson Frederick Adams, sixteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several cousins.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday November 9, 2019 at 1 pm at University United Methodist Church, 324 University Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210.
