Eleanor Savastano, Rochester Cremation

Macedon NY:  Eleanor passed gracefully at the age of 90 on November 11, 2018. Survived by her daughters, Ann (Mike Nesbitt) Savastano, Mary Savastano (Richard) Cutting, Nancy Savastano, Jean Savastano(Tom) Dlugosh; grandchildren, Michael (Erin) Fox, Michaelyn (Erik) O’Hearn, Jessica (Chris) Towle, Emily (Bryce) Velasquez, Alan Cutting, Caitlin and Erin Shanahan; great-grandchildren, Landry O’Hearn, Zoe and Nora Fox. Also, survived by her sister, Joanna Blyth and brother, William (Carol) Jennings as well as nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, Carmine Savastano. Eleanor grew up in Macedon NY and graduated from the University of Rochester. She retired from Rochester Abstract Company, a family business started by her father, W. Charles Jennings. She was a dedicated member of the Eureka Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star for nearly 70 years. More than anything, Eleanor loved her family and the many cats she enjoyed over the years. She was generous, loyal and was the center of our family. She is now the brightest star in the sky and always in our hearts.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1 PM at South Perinton United Methodist Church, 291 Wilkinson Rd., Fairport, NY 14450. Reception to follow.

Donations in memory of Eleanor, may be made to Palliative Care Program at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua NY 14424 or Pet Pride of New York, Inc., 7731 Victor Mendon Rd., Victor, NY 14564.
