Eric was a great friend, boss, and mentor. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and straightforward opinions. He may not have had kids but I certainly looked up to him like a father-figure at times. Condolences to Paul and all those around him that felt the pain of his passing.

It is very hard to let a guy like Eric move on to the next plateau. And words are difficult to convey the feelings for someone who I’ve known for most of my life. Someone who has always been there, always been a true friend. The memories will always be there and remind me and everyone else that Eric was always someone you looked forward to seeing and sharing adventures with. Condolences go out to all. And Looking forward to meeting up again some day to continue the adventures.

We met Eric 20 years ago when he helped us excavate our driveway. Never did we think that “Mr. Bobcat” (as the kids always called him) would become like a member of the family and a cherished friend. From holidays and birthdays to solving the world’s problems over a beer (or two) in the driveway, a friendship grew and will be missed more than ever. “Pumpkin, say hi to Dude – next round’s on me” – Mike.
