    Dear Anthony’s family,

Anthony is what he wanted to be called in our tai chi classes. My condolences to all of you on his passing. He was a remarkable person, always friendly with a pleasant word, often a joke of some kind or a story of something that he had experienced. There were two women named Liz in the class. He named us Liz 1 and Liz 2. Since I joined later, I was Liz 2. We kept these names all through the years that we were together. Others in the group began to call us that also.

Anthony was always willing to try his best. No matter how hard a step was, he gave it his best. For that I admired him. But he also knew when his body needed a break. It was important that he could recognize that. We missed him after he had to stop the classes last year, but we will always remember him and his concern for others.

    With my sympathy,

    Liz 2 (Seely)
