Geraldine Strong- Sharpe

Geraldine Strong- Sharpe - Rochester Cremation

Pittsford, NY:  1925-2023.  Our wonderful Mother and Grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on December 19, 2023.

Surviving are her children, Gail Tysall (Timothy), Cathy Blodgett (Edwin), Leslie Strong (Sue); five Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

She was employed for many years at R.F. Communications.

Our Mom was an inspiration to her children and grandchildren and most everyone who knew her.  Mom always put her family first.  She was an accomplished cook and seamstress and an avid gardener.  Traveling to the Cape was a favorite trip of hers.  She also enjoyed entertaining her friends and family by putting on beautiful meals.

She was a long-time member of Pinnacle Lutheran Church in which at a later date, a Memorial Service will be held.

A special “thanks” to all who helped in the great care Mom received at St. Ann’s Nursing Home.

I’m so blessed to be able to have had Grandma Sharpe for my grandmother. I’m very thankful to have many, many fond memories shared with her…from staying over night at her house when I was a young boy, to her making special trips out to Lima, where I live, to teach me how to drive at age 16…in her NEW car; I’m not sure if I’d allow my 16 year old inexperienced grandchild to drive my new vehicle (haha), and a later memory of watching her hold our newborn son, Roy, her great grandchild. She was always so loving and caring to us grandkids. Family and friends were everything in her mind. I’m also going to miss her wonderful home-made meals and patisserie-styled desserts. Grandma was a perfectionist at just about everything she did, including, her meals; she was so talented. She also Crocheted & knitted several blankets, sweaters, mittens, hats and other apparel for her family and friends. The memory of my grandmother will be treasured.

She was a such a wonderful woman no matter which hat she wore. I know that heaven gained an angel and she is free to do all the things she could no longer do on earth.
May she rest in peace. ❤️

I will miss grandma so much! I’m so thankful for how she treated us kids. She didn’t have to buy anything for us. It’s the quality time that means the most. I’m sad this chapter has come to a close. I love her so much it hurts. She gained her wings, see u on the other side grandma when it’s time. I have more years to harass people lol. Fly free
