Gregory F. Weissinger - Chittenango, NY - Rochester Cremation

Age 64, born in Rochester NY to George and Rose (Silletti) Weissinger on November 22, 1955, entered into eternal life on September 16, 2020 in Chittenango, NY after a long and courageous battle with Covid19.

Gregory is predeceased by his parents and brother Thomas. He is survived by his brother Gary (Diane) Weissinger, Melbourne Fl., sister Linda Weissinger Atkins, Hamlin NY, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gregory graduated Charlotte High School class of 1974, went on to become a baker, operating Gregorio’s Bakery in Chaumont NY. He excelled at wrestling in high school, enjoyed playing billiards and listening to his favorite music from the 1960’s-70’s. But his all-time favorite and idol was Elvis, whose signature moves he often emulated at ANY given time or place. Gregory will be remembered for his big heart, quirky sense of humor, love of family and deep enduring faith in his creator. He will be deeply missed and forever loved and remembered.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at RGH in Rochester NY and Crouse Hospital  in Syracuse NY, as well as The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing in Chittenango NY for their excellent and compassionate care.

Gregory will be laid to rest next to his brother Thomas in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a private family graveside service on Saturday, September 26th at 11am.

      I’m sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. My condolences to his family, and friends. I liked Greg. He was a big help to me in school. He had a great smile and great sense of humor. He always made me smile. God bless you, Greg.

    My cousin Greg. We used to call him 20 questions. I guess maybe now he has all the answers. RIP.
