The ceremony that my brother Jake should have is missing for some odd (queer) reason. There is no closing for the family and friends that grew up with Jake. We will not be able to talk about the life of a loved one. We will not be able to pray openly for our beloved brother and send him on his way to meet his Maker. We know that the female dog who he married is causing all of our sorrow. But we also know that there is a place for those who do not honor the dead and it is not heaven. I loved my brother and despise the one who has torn this family apart.

Uncle Jim it would have been a blessing to get to tell you how much we loved you and to get to spend time with you while you had time left here on earth. Know that we love you and sending prayers for you. You were such a great person bigger than life. Until the witch came along and tore you from your family.
I pray and pray for you uncle Jim!!
    Love always your niece Tasha

My thoughts and prayers are with the Petrotta family. I can only imagine the hurt and grieving that James J. Petrotta, Jr. (Son), Sue Grieco (Sister), Paul Petrotta (Brother)and George Petrotta (Brother) are going through!! I was shocked at the lack of respect and cold heartedness toward their family by the person that handled the final expenses.

It is hard for me to understand how a funeral home or a person in charge of final expenses not do what is right in the eyes of the Lord and show some class and dress this up to give James and his family the dignity that he and they deserved through this sad time.

I do know that God is always in control and He will protect and take care of all of His children.

Vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

So saddened to hear of Jimmy’s passing. We enjoyed our conversations at reunions and when we would encounter him in the neighborhood. He was a fun loving person – a great guy!
May he rest in peace. Holy Cross Classmate Bill Sharpe

My thoughts of sympathy are with the Petrotta family. When you lose someone very precious, no one else can really know all that you feel, but please know that many caring thoughts are with you all during this time of sorrow.

I grew up with Jimmy; we were classmates as far back as Holy Rosary and Holy Cross grammar schools. Jim was always a fun person to be with throughout the years, his sense of humor was enjoyed by all of us at our class reunions. We will all miss him.
