Holley, NY – February 20th, 2021 at age 72. Jean passed away peacefully in her daughter’s home. Jean is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Rita (Statt) LaRose. She is survived by her children, Steven (Rachel) Kruger, James (Jennifer) Kruger, Peter (Laura) Kruger, Linda (Douglas Farrow) Kruger; 11 grandchildren; her brothers Ralph, Joseph and William LaRose; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Jean enjoyed helping others when they needed it. She loved yard work and her dog Draco, who has been waiting for her in heaven. She enjoyed fishing and canoeing and loved to tease those she loved most.
Due to Covid being a concern, the family has opted to postpone a Memorial Service until warmer weather allows. The burial service will be held in the spring at the Holy Ghost Cemetery, located at Coldwater Rd, Rochester, NY 14624 where the family will be laying her ashes to rest. There will be a follow up announcement for those who wish to join the family in the celebration of Jean’s life.
Jean was the first person l met when we moved into our home. She brought me basil from her garden. We would visit whenever we saw each other. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed. I’m sure she’s planting a garden in Heaven.
