I knew Jean for many years. I knew her through the Perinton Quilt Guild and always enjoyed her enthusiasm and sparkle. She was a fun addition to our quilt retreats. I also appreciate her years as a school social worker, as I used to work as a school psychologist and know the dedication and empathy that is needed for that job. She was a feisty lady and I will enjoy the memories of her.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom.
To me, she was always an example of determination. She loved to sew and quilt and help others.
I could relate so much to her in her desire to show up on retreats and be part of a great group of ladies, even when she or I didn’t get much accomplished(well mostly me)!
She was truly grateful for all the help over the years, especially from her children.
May you find peace in this season of sorrow.
      A Quilting friend(PQG)

Jean was full of laughter and fun ideas… she always had a twinkle in her eye. Her talent as a quilter was amazing… she created modern masterpieces and always had a smile on her face. Thanks for sharing her with her fellow quilters.. she was a wonderful lady.

    I will truly miss Jean!
Getting to know through Perinton Quilt Guild & our rides down to Watson Retreat Center for our retreats. She really enjoyed them and nothing would stop her from coming.
She was a true friend. I will miss our phone calls & seeing her face. She was loved.

I so enjoyed Jean and looked forward to visiting her at St. Ann’s…….we even tried a knitting project….and I never arrived without a bag of Tootsie Pops! The bags I had for my next visit will be shared in her memory at our next Perinton Quilt Guild meeting on Monday night! She was quite a gal ……and I’m so sorry for your…and our…loss.
